Some products such as lung, tripe, spleen, ground products with bone in them can not be marked for human consumption due to USDA laws. As far as labeling goes we label pet food products "not for human consumption". The reason this as our preferred method is to keep organization to freezers. The inspector must know what is for human and what is for pet food.

Total separation for the two must be maintained. Again, most of our products come from carcasses passed for human consumption.

Our rabbit for pet food is processed on the farm in a sanitary procedure. We do have whole rabbit for human consumption that is inspected for human consumption. This rabbit is more expensive. Ground rabbit meat only is also of human consumption. Pet food and human rabbits can't be processed in same facility due to federal regulation. The rabbit that we sell for pet food is of the same quality as we sell for human consumption. These rabbits are pellet and hay fed. No antibiotics or sick rabbits are used.

Our chicken is raised on our farm and processed on our farm with sanitation at high priority. These chickens are loose all day eating what they want. We do supplement with pellet especially now in the winter.

Beef, pork, etc. are purchased by us and from individual people. We get grass fed, grain fed, and lightly grain fed animals. With beef we know which are grass fed. Again all these animals are inspected and passed for human consumption. We don't pull anything from inedible or condemned barrels.

Clean and safe product is very important to us.

Everything is frozen.
